My interest in technology started when I was five years old, playing my first video game on a Commodore VIC20 machine. My love for technology continued and when I reached 12 years old, I had saved enough money from delivering the Lethbridge Herald to buy my first computer, a Hewitt Rand 386.
By the age of 14 I started a part-time position at a local computer shop and became the go-to person for friends and family for all their technological needs.

Hi! My name is Iqreet Vaid, and I’m the office assistant at Daxtech It Solutions. I was born and raised in Victoria. I have seven years of experience in providing customer service.
I graduated from Royal Roads University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies. I enjoy helping others and learning new skills. In my spare time, I like to travel, spend time with friends and family, and try new foods.

My dad, a dedicated computer geek, owns an IT shop with his business partner, and my husband is a techno enthusiast who loves experimenting with various home-based technologies. Being around them and listening to all the tech talk sparked my own interest in technology.

I am a recent graduate from the CNET program at Camosun College. I have been tinkering with computers since I was 12 years old, when my parents gave me their old pc when they upgraded.
In my spare time you can find me playing games with my friends, hiking, reading, the usual stuff. I am a fixer at heart, I love working on computers and interesting networking projects, I get the most satisfaction after seeing a problem solved and a job well done.

Hi, I’m Dustin! I enjoy travelling, sports, running, biking, camping, and various other outdoor activities. Working for Daxtech since 2012, I have had the pleasure of growing with the company over the years and getting to know clients and their networks.
I moved to Vancouver in 2015 and then to Kelowna in 2022, which has allowed the company to expand services to these areas. I also remotely assist island and lower mainland-based clients.

I began tinkering with computers at the age of 10 and have since built my career around IT consulting. With decades of hands-on experience in helping businesses find innovative, efficient technology solutions, I feel I bring both technical depth and a collaborative spirit to every client engagement.
Beyond the keyboard, I am an avid traveller and have explored all corners of the globe across four continents.
Some of my memorable adventures include scuba diving with sea lions and hammerheads in the Galápagos Islands, retracing the ancient Silk Road through Uzbekistan, and braving the thrilling whitewater of the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe.
Whether solving complex IT challenges or navigating the world, I thrive on discovery, connection, and making things work better—wherever I am.

As a writer, I enjoy technology as far as it may be a productive medium for me to work with — it is. I have approximately 12 years of experience working in the IT industry. Assisting with Daxtech's growth is fun and fascinating work.
Outside of Daxtech, this Beatlemaniac is a running coach, race organizer, and journalist. I am currently picking away at learning guitar. Also, constantly improving my writing skills and patiently waiting for the Vancouver Canucks to win their first Stanley Cup.
