I’ve been taking computers apart and putting them back together since my early teens and have always enjoyed the challenge of troubleshooting computer issues. After completing my Information Technology diploma at VIU (Then Malaspina) I have worked in IT on 3 continents and 7 countries and encountered all kinds of tech with a variety of requirements and problems. Outside the IT realm I enjoy Traveling, Scuba Diving, Home Automation, and Lego.

My interest in tech and numbers started at a young age so I suppose working in accounting at an IT company has been an ideal place for me. I have been working with Daxtech since the very beginning and take pride in watching it grow and change every day. Aside from work I enjoy video games, yard work, gardening, construction projects and playing guitar. Above all I love my wife of 28 years and helping my two boys navigate through life’s challenges and enjoying their accomplishments which includes working with my oldest on his house and my youngest with his hockey.

My interest in technology started when I was 5 years old, playing my first video game on a Commodore VIC20. My love for technology continued and when I reached 12 years old, I had saved enough money from delivering the Lethbridge Herald to buy my first computer, a Hewitt Rand 386. By the age of 14 I had started a part-time position at local computer shop and became the go to person for friends and family for all their technology needs.

I completed the “Computer Networking Technician” program at Lethbridge College in 2001 and received my Diploma in Network and Internet Security at CDI College in 2005. Shortly afterward I landed my first corporate IT position for a software company where in a short time I gained a tremendous amount of experience. In 2006 I moved into a position in the IT service sector and never looked back. I had found my calling.

With over 25 years of experience in the industry and a lifelong passion for problem solving, helping others and understanding how things work, I am now a proud owner of Daxtech IT Solutions and able to bring my passion and experience to our wide range of valued business clients.

I’ve been interested in technology for as long as I can remember… since before the Internet! I’m now specializing in small business IT solutions and cloud products. I love exploring the latest technology and how it can be applied to businesses of al​l shapes and sizes to improve their efficiency and profitability.

My interest in computers and technology started during my elementary years when I first stepped into our school’s computer lab. After I graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, I worked as an IT officer and a Virtual assistant for the last six years before Daxtech. When I’m not working, you can find me reading Japanese comics, binge-watch anime and Netflix series, and playing video games. I also love traveling and exploring different foods in the places that I visit.

I am a recent graduate from the CNET program at Camosun College. I have been tinkering with computers since 12 years old, when my parents gave me their old one after they upgraded. In my spare time you can find me playing games with my friends, hiking, reading, the usual stuff. I am a fixer at heart, I love working on computers and interesting networking projects, I get the most satisfaction after seeing a problem solved and a job well done.

Since I was a little, all I did was take technology apart to figure out how it works, since then I’ve gotten much better at putting the devices back together afterwards. My hobbies include Longboarding, Dungeons and dragons, Camping, Video games, and hanging out with my dog. My interests in technology have been life long and I’ve always had a strong passion for computers and science. I hope to be able to help you solve your IT needs!
